Xantrex’s automatic transfer switch solved the matter of continuously powering a non-critical 120 VAC load for added convenience. My system will not switch to an alternate AC source when the DC input from the electrical device battery bank is so low that the inverter shuts down. the automated switching is well made and works perfectly. It’d be nice if the unit included and installed the secondary plug and outlet, but I knew before the time that when ordering this unit I’d have to provide my very own plug and outlet.
